John 12:37-50 – What would take for us to ‘believe’ in Jesus and what does ‘believing in Jesus’ really look like? These questions and more come out of this challenging passage.
John 12:12-19 – We begin our Lent series in John’s gospel looking at the last week of Jesus’ life with the first Palm Sunday. It’s a very well known passage but when we understand the context and symbolism in those events they take on a far greater significance and leave us with a huge challenge.
We come to the end of the book on the meaning of life and are given two great pieces of advice (REJOICE and REMEMBER) before the Teacher challenges us to RESPOND. On offer is a life of meaning that goes on to eternity. We’d be foolish to miss out.
