Galatians 5:13-26, Philippians 2:1-13 – The foundation for growing in the fruit of the Spirit is to be humble
John 17:9-12 – The closeness of the Father and the Son, which comes out in Jesus’ most wonderful prayer, shows us that we are both chosen by God and protected by God.
John 17:6-8 – The blessings which spill out to us include knowing God, and having his words.
John 17:1-5 – We look at Jesus’ wonderful prayer on the night he was betrayed and start with Jesus’ prayer about himself.
Romans 8: 1-17 – Jesus died so that we could escape the fire of God’s condemnation. He defeated death and rose to life again so death can have no power over those who are united to Christ by faith.
