The UCCFs are non-denominational, welcoming students from different backgrounds, denominations and church traditions, and exist to give every student on campus an opportunity to hear and respond to the love of Jesus.
In the last academic year, the CUs have had an exciting season of mission, boldly telling their friends and peers about the gospel. Let’s give thanks for the ways that God has used them to make Himself known in universities across the UK. ‘I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. This will please the Lord.’ Psalm 69:30–31.
Please pray for…
- All students who start university in the next few weeks and the work of the UCCF for the new academic year
- Freshers weeks that the UCCF will be a strong presence during these weeks demonstrating the love of Christ.
- The University of Hertfordshire students and Royal Veterinary College students Hawkshead Campus
- Relay which is the UCCF’s ten-month discipleship and training programme for graduates who work with CUs.
- Equipping and resourcing the CUs through their staff workers to remain active, vibrant witnesses for Christ at the heart of university life.
