Welcome to the St Nicks walking group. At the moment we walk once a month but this may increase if demand requires it.
Everyone who takes part in the group walks does so at their own risk.
We do not employ qualified guides or first aiders, the group works on the basis of a group of friends who walk together and invite others to join them on the same basis.
Walkers are reminded that outdoor activities frequently need some specialist equipment {Boots and waterproofs etc} and the group does not provide these. Participants are responsible for assessing their own risk, for the safety of themselves and their guests and the suitability of equipment used.
While accepting no responsibility or liability for walks the walk leader may suggest that you are not equipped for the walk and may suggest you do not participate.
We will post details of the likely terrain on the What’s App Group page as well as the leader’s number if you have any pre walk queries.
It is vital that you do not attend if you or anyone in your household has COVID19 /Flu symptoms or been in contact with anyone who has tested positive.
