At St Nicholas we know that many stereotypical church activities don’t appeal to men. That is why throughout the year we run a programme of informal, low-key social events specifically aimed at the blokes in our congregation.

As the longer winter nights draw in, we stick to indoor pursuits like pool or ten pin bowling. We have even taken trips down to London for a Saturday afternoon rugby or football match.

moMENtum events are open to all gents – church regulars and newcomers alike. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal – a great way to introduce a friend to the guys from church, even if he is not keen to attend a service. Generally, you don’t need to sign up in advance – just turn up!
