At St Nicholas we want to everyone to explore the claims of Jesus for themselves. We try to offer various ways to help people do that, in addition to our regular Sunday services.

Several times a year we run free informal discussion courses, where you can find out more about the Christian faith and ask your questions in a relaxed and supportive environment.  We sometimes use material from the Identity Course or Christianity Explored  – two courses which aim to show people who Jesus was by examining eye-witness accounts of his life. We also run a shorter 3 session course called ‘Hope Explored’.

The sessions consist of short talks, and discussion in a small group . Someone from the church will lead the group and field any questions. You will not be asked to pray or sing or read from the Bible aloud.

These courses are always free and everyone is welcome to attend. Whether you have never been to a church service before or are a regular church-goer looking for a bit of a refresher – if you are interested, we would love to see you.
